The fifth largest country in the world, Brazil is a land of colourful people and landscapes and one of the top honeymoon destinations in South America. A land that has forever captivated the imagination, Brazil is an immense country of astonishing raw natural beauty with an exciting array of spectacular places to visit and things to see on your holidays.

Brazil has a landmass greater than that of the contiguous United States and a population of nearly 200 million, it is also the largest country in Latin America. Yet there are still huge swathes of pure wilderness untouched by the hand of Man.

Birthplace of the samba and home of Carnaval, Brazil has a beating heart that will captivate visitors with the warmth and energy of its people. If you are planning a visit to Brazil, think of everything this country has to offer to you.

Rio de Janeiro, one of the great cities of the world is blessed with breathtaking views over Guanabara Bay, Sugar Loaf mountain, all overseen by the magnificent Christ the Redeemer statue sitting atop Corcovado, the must see attraction on a visit to Brazil.

The surrounding towns of Paratí, Ouro Preto and Buziós also make for a delightful introduction to the adventure ahead, either by land or by yacht. To the south are the Iguazú Falls, an awe-inspiring demonstration of nature’s power carrying the largest volume of water in the Americas, an unmissable place to visit when you travel in Brazil. To the northwest lies the vast Pantanal, the largest wetland in the world and the best place on the continent to view wildlife, from jaguars and monkeys to anacondas and giant anteaters.

Travelling north we find ourselves in the exotic and mysterious Amazon rainforest. It is home to the most diverse range of flora and fauna on the planet and of course the mighty Amazon River, the lifeblood of the forest. Moving away to Brazil’s long coastline there are some spectacular sights to be enjoyed on your holidays.

Brazil’s Northeast Atlantic coast is where you will find some of the finest beaches in the world. Stretching along for hundreds of miles the beaches around Salvador, Recife and Fortaleza offer sun, sea and sand with an exotic and exciting mix of African and Brazilian cultures, the top honeymoon destinations in Brazil. Big, bold and beautiful Brazil is a country of mythical proportions.
